Musicians Jam after Matthews memorial

Right after Matthew's memorial there will be an all musicians jam to honor Matt. Coleen has asked Camano Chapel to let us use the stage area for this purpose and they have agreed. Everyone is invited to bring your instruments to the church for the jam.

Tribute to Matthew

I am organizing a tribute CD to Matthew. Any of you with musical talent are encouraged to add to this musical undertaking. Let this be a tribute that is musically and lyrically positive. Let it rock and let it tell a story. Johnathan Barber was in my studio this last week laying down some tracks to build upon and I have begun writing a tune of my own. George and Skip from Matt's old band Tempting Fate are working on a contribution also. I'm sure Jimmy and John McAdams will be there too. Drop me an email at alienfishz@yahoo.com

Pictures of Matthew

Coleen and I are looking for pictures of Matthew. Especially of him playing the drums. These are in short supply as he was the one that usually had the camera in his hand. If you have any you can email them to me (Bill Simpson) at alienfishz@yahoo.com . These are going to be used for a slide show at his celebration of life service on March 1st.

The celebration of Matthew's life will be at 2:00 Sunday March 1st at Camano Chapel. The Chapel address is 867 South West Camano Drive.

In memory of Matthew

This is a tribute blog for my best friend and Christain brother Matthew Mckenna. His passing came as a surprise to all that knew and loved him. I will be adding pictures and comments in the following days so please check back often.
